PIRATE ENGLAND AND THE MOON MAIDEN

CHAPTER 11

'You Senorita know about the curse, dont you?' Luna gasped hearing those words. She kept her composure and shook her head.

'what curse would that be exactly? she asked. Antonio leaned closer and whisperd 'Kirklands curse'. Luna stil stood and played dumb, she didnt want anyone let alone Carreido to know the truth.
'I dont think I do' she replied calmly as Antonio sighed running his hand over his hair, grabbing her arm he lead her back to his cabin locking the door causing her to shiver.
'Take a seat' he ordered starring at her for a long time. Luna sighed and sat on the chair opposite him. She looked at the desk much like Arthurs it was strewn with maps and bits and bobs. Anotonio seemed to be looking for a certain map, he let out a low growl clentching his fist.
'that Bastardo...brit! he cursed.
Luna looked up and smirked a little. 'have you lost something?? she asked innocnently.
Antonio turned around and starred back at her 'he took the map senorita, didnt he? he asked as he strode to where Luna sat and pulled her up tightly.
Luna winced slightly but still grinned a little. 'I dont know...since you knocked Peter and I out! she stated simlpy.
Antonio suddenly burst into laughter which confused Luna. 'what is so funny! she asked. 'Never mind senorita Luna' he replied tapping his head. 'I memorized the map in my head' he explained then pulled her close and suddenly kissed her.
Luna tried to pull away, she hated how he invaded her mouth with his toungue trying to claim her.
'mmmmggg' she moaned and bit down on his lip causing him to break the kiss and narrow his green eyes.
'that was not a wise move, luna you know better' he scolded her.
Luna sighed and looked back at Antonio who grinned just as the door opened. Luna looked around to see Lovino walk in with a tray of food. 'Set it down on the desk chico' Carreido orderd as Lovino muttered 'tomato captain bastardo' as he walked back out.
Luna was slightly confused. 'why does he insult you all the time? she asked as Carreido ordered her to sit once more then grinned. 'loves me really chica' he explained wathcing her intently.
'Senorita Luna the food is not poisioned you know' he said leaning his chin on his hands.  Luna's stomoch growled as she had forgot the last time she ate. She tore into the food as she was really hungry and Anotio smiled as he sat back putting his feet up near Luna.
'now about the curse....I know your lying, you pretend not to know but I can see it in your eyes, senorita Luna' he said his voice dropping slightly.
Luna stopped eating suddenly feeling not hungry as she pushed her plate away casuing Antonio to smirk.
'so Its true then..you do know' he purred starring straight at luna. Luna thought hard and fast she did not want him to know about the curse.
Antonio starred at her for a moment then nodded 'I wish to find the moonstone Luna do you know what that is chica? he asked looking at her face.  Luna shook her head. 'ive never heard of it' she replied.
'I would have thought the moon maiden would surely know about the stone, tis rumoured to break Kirklands curse!' he explained.
Hearing this Lunas eyes went wide the she frowned 'why would you be so interested if you killed him! she exclaimed folding her arms and noticing her own sword sitting near Antonio.
Antonio winked his green eye at Luna and smirked 'for my own sake having the moonstone would mean if by any chance your....lovely Brit did come back from the dead..he would not be able to break the curse' he explained.
Luna stood up suddenly and glarred at him.
'chica..what did I tell you? he warned luna. 'Do I need to call in Sadik once more? he purred low looking at her.
Luna frowned and balled her fists then sat back down. 'so what are you going to do then? she asked. Antonio thought for a second then grinned back, 'I have already orderd my crew to set a course for south west, we are looking for a tiny Island hidden between two bigger ones' he explained.
Sighing Luna looked over to the window and gasped a little her thoughts going to Peter and the rest of Arthurs crew, the moon was out yet becasue of the magic bangle she could feel none of its pull or magic. 'peter' she whispered to herself.


Deep in the brig, Peter still had his knees pulled up close to him. He missed his big brother Arthur a lot and he worried so much about Luna with Antonio. The last pirate gurad had left for the night after placing a plate of scraps and a tumbler of water for Peter in his cell.
Despite the bread being stale he demolished it and drank the water, his blond hair was a mess and the lump was still throbbing where the captain had knocked him out.
Slowly nigthfall came and he found himself dreading this part. Having been cursed he found the change easy with the crew but here alone in another pirate ship he shivers and shook in fear. 'what if they find out! he said out loud in a fearfull voice.
Suddenly the moon beams flitered through the tiny porthole and Peter felt that familiar tingle of the curse beginning. He closed his eyes and readied for the change unaware just how enventfull his night would be.

Gilbert had been made to scrub the decks again, he was mad not just at being ordered to scrub the deck but also at his sister luna. 'what does she ever..ever seen in that bloody pirate anyways! he growled as he threw the scrubbing brush in the pale and wipped his forehad, his ruby eyes looking up at the full moon.
'your grumpy again kid? came Alfonsos voice as he stood watching Gil, leaning casually against one of the masts of the ship, his shaggy brown hair blowing in the cool wind even with the red bandanna tied around it, his green eyes looked over at Gil.
'chico, heard you got into it with your sister last night? he asked. Gilbert glowerd at the pirate 'so what, she betrayed me and slept with the bloody Brit! what do you think! he almost yelled. Alfonso chuckled and stroked his chin, 'silblings can be complicated' he sighed out.
'chico, check on the boy' Alfonso orderd as Gilbert huffilly stomped off.

'EH!!! CAPTAIN!!!! CAPTAIN!! Gil yelled loudly as Alfonso stood at the top the of the brig. 'Chico what is going on?? he asked.
'The boy...so not awesome but...hes gone...and there is a cat here!!! he yelled surprised. Alfonso laughed clutching his stomoch. 'say again chico? he yelled. Gilbert came running up the stairs and growled.
'I AM NOT KIDDING, HAVE A LOOK! Alfonso sighed and rolled his green eyes as he walked down to the brig. Taking a look around he saw no trace of the boy, except a pile of clothes that looked like they belonged to the boy: in his place was a light cream and white cat which sat and looked up at him with cute blue eyes.
Alfonso stumbled back slightly and looked at Gilbert who nodded. 'I told you! he said grinning a little.
'SADIK!!! get down here now!! Yelled Alfonso as the masked man appeared and looks rather amused. 'what is going on here? he asked his voice slightly deep as he followed Alfons's gaze.
'a cat? he replied then went closer to the bars and smiled. 'a human cursed as a cat, rather interesting' he replied.

As the night wore on Luna grew more worried, she tried to keep herslef calm as Antonio drank wine and looked at her closely. 'senorita luna I think it is time' he replied softly casuing Luna to narrow her golden eyes. 'time? she asked.
Antonio stood and up pulled her arm leading her to the bed. Lunas heart bet fast as she tried to pull away. 'I wont..let..go mmmpppp' Luna was cut off as Antonio smashed his lips against hers, once again is tongue going into her mouth, she tried to push away but it was usless as he proceeded to push her onto the bed still kissing.
Once on bed Luna tried to squrim away but Antonio had her pinned under his weight, he grabbed her writs in one hand and began to undoo her corset. 'so lovely senorita luna' he purred then added 'you shoud be proud to be mine i will treat you like a queen senorita' he purred again as he assaulted her neck with kisses.
Luna squirmed underneath him then had a sudden idea 'if i can get him to take this...bangle of then i can use my magic!' she thought to herself.
'Arthur im doing this to save peter..' luna thought to herslef as she put on a fake smile looking up at Antonio who snaked on hand up her skirt and she gasped blushing a lot.
'If we are going to do this...let my hands be free please' she asked in a low voice as she looked inot his green eyes. Antonio nodded and let her hands go as he began to pull at her skirt and corset again kissing and rubbing her chest. Luna gasped in slight embarresment and ran her hands through his hair as she grabbed his hand.
'let me...' she whsipered as she undid the corset kissing him more.
'Just for tonight...please..take this off' she asked kissing him more. Antonio looked at the silver braclet on Lunas wrist and smiled a little 'very well chica, I will let you for one night have this off' he purred then added in a slightly cooler tone 'but ...any funny stuff and I will have to deal with you in an unladylike mannor' he said waving a finger at lunas face.
LUna smiled sweetly up at him thinking 'good I can send a message to Arthur' little did she know just how eventfull this night would be.
Something clikced and suddenly it was like being struck by lihgtning as Luna felt her power once again, tingles spread all over her body as she smiled a little looking as Antonio grinned.


Arthur stood over the map frowning slightly, he clenched his fists as his emereld eyes scanned the map Antonio had, he ran a hand over the rough map tracing his finger over the dots thinking. 'so your heading that way ye Spanish git! he thought angrily. Leaning over he slammed his fist down on the map. 'GOD DAM IT! he yelled.
'HISSSS!!' came a loud noise from the desk. Arthur looked down and sighed taking his hat off and running his hand throuhg his hair. 'Sorry Al, scared ye' he sighed looking down at the fluffy grey white cat and blue eyes.
All of this could not have happened at a worse time. 'curse that dam feline curse! Arthur sighed frustrated. As usuall his crew had turned into cats yet again but he was lucky not to.
Taking a slug of his rum he thought about his brother Peter...he would be a cat at this time to all alone.

'Arthur...are you there can you hear me??? Lunas voice suddenly sounded in his mind clear as crystal. 'Luna bloody hell are you alright!!' he sent back his voice full of urgency.
'oh Arthur your alive..I thought he'd killed you!' Luna sent back quickly.  Hearing this Arthur laughed out loud looking at Al cat who was walking around his legs. 'Takes more than a spanish git to take me down!he sent back then added 'Peter..is he alright?
'Peter...is scared but is unhurt' luna sent back.
Arthur sighed releived hearing this. 'love...do you know where you are? he asked.  'Im not sure..Artur im sorry...he said something about setting a course for south west hes looking for a small island' she sent back.
Arthur frowned slightly looking down at his map then suddenly felt a slight prescence of someonelese.   'Luna love..is something wrong? he sent. 'its him..bloody spain! Luna sent back shivering under his touch.
'THAT SPAINISH BASTARD! LOVE WHATEVER YOU DO DONT LET HIM HAVE YOU!!! YER MINE FOR ALWAYS! Arthur sent back loud causing luna to wince and snap out of her thoughts.

Antonio looked at her a slight worried look crossed his face.
'Luna are you alright? he asked seeing Luna look strange. Luna blinked a few times seeing the spanish pirate staddling her, she gasped and narrowed her eyes thinking 'here goes nothing'
Suddenly there was a huge burst of white light. Anotiono only had time to gasp before he was flung off Luna hitting the back of the room with a hard thud, he groaned slgihtly sliding down the wall.
Luna took no chance still buzzing from using her magic she grabbed her sword on his desh and ran to the door and blasted it open, fresh air hit her and she looked around. 'Peter im coming! she said loudly.  Looking around something caught her eye a tall black sailed ship. A sudden feeling of deep danger hit her and she shivered, qucikly she held her sword ready to fight any more of his crew as she ran into the galley.

Alfonso was alone in the galley and taken by surprise as Luna thumped him on his head causing him to crumple on the ground. 'You deserve that!'she yelled as she ran further into the ship.
Running she almost bumped into the man called Sadik. Not letting him get in her way she closed her eyes and felt the power build up.
Sadik gave a surpirsed gasp as his hand reached for his sword a purple magic swirling around it. 'ah..luna moon maiden do you really want to fight me? he asked glarring at her.
Luna growled feeling all her anger and frustration build up, before Sadik could react Luna hit him with a bolt of light causing him to stumble back, she quickly raised her leg up and kicked him hard between the legs before running further in search of peter.
'where the heck..ah here it is! Luna cried out as she ran down the stairs to the brig, she scanned the room seeing nothing then here eyes landed on the light cream adn white cat that suddenly looked up at her and meowed loud.
'Peter!!! hang on ill help you! she gasped, she had no idea what she would do next or how they would get off the ship. She looked at the lock and fiddled with it using a little of her power she broke it with a sudden clang and raced in picking Peter the cat up.
'oh Peter this is my fault! she cried out.
The cat mewed loudly in her arms then hissed suddenly as Luna felt hairs on her neck stand on end, a sudden cold feeling on the back of her neck made her gasp sligtly.

'chica that was not a wise move' Antonio hissed as he stood behind Luna, before she could do anything he grabbed her wrist again making her drop Peter who ran at his leg trying to claw it hard. Luna starred into the captains dangerously green eyes and gapsed angry and afraid at the same time.
'you tricked me chica moon maiden' he said his voice was cold and low as he still gripped her wrists. Peter hissed once more as Captain Antonio sighed and kicked him hard causing him to let out a painfull mewl.
'leave him alone!! Luna yelled angry but before she got another chance Antonio pushed her roughly and she fell to the ground grazing her kness. Something cold clamped around her ankle and she gapsed looking up at Antonio.
'hmmmm it seems little chica has to learn a lesson! he said his voice angry as he grabbed her right wrist and clipped the braclet on once again.
'I..hate you! Luna said strongly as she glarred at the spanish captain, feeling the sudden coldness yet again.
Antonio smirked and chucked her under the chin, 'seems to me you like it here, so why not stay here until you learn to behave chica' he said getting up and walking out. He spoke a string of spanish at Sadik who had now recovered and glarred at Luna, he was not worried about the door, the shackle would keep here in place.

Once again Luna was left with the feeling she had been here before, remembering her time in the brig on Arthurs ship, she cursed to herslef outloud for thinking she could actually get away from the spanish captain. She gently lifted up and injured Peter kitty and stroked him gently.
'im sorry, im sorry for getting you into this.....' she whispered as he looked at her with his cat eyes and mewled.
Luna lost track of time, she had no idea how long she had been left for.
'BOOOM!  BOOOM!! Suddenly both Luna and peter kitty jumped. 'what...that sounded like...cannon fire! she excalimed feeling slightly afraid then excited hoping it was Arthurs ship.
She heard Spanish voices yell and recognized Antonios voice yelling 'we are under attack, man your stations!!

The violet eyed admiral stood on deck of his ship as it approached the Spanish ship, he had intel that the Spaniad pirate had gotten hold of the moon maiden, he let his silver hair blow in the warm night wind and narrowed his eyes making fists.
'those pirates...will be wiped out da' he said to himself as he ordered his crew to attack using the cannons.

Luna was started by the sudden clatter and yelling as Antonio ran down, he strode into the cell and unlocked the shackle on her ankle. 'what, what are you doing?! she demanded starring at him, she noticd his hair had escaped its ribbon and for the first time fear in his green eyes.
'chica I require your power! he said and grabbed her wrist squeezing it 'if you value your life, your brother and the cat, you will help me! he said unclipping the braclett once more.  Luna felt her power rush back into her and sparring no time she sent a message to Arthur 'Atrie dam it.....we are being attacked look for the spanish ship! she sent then gapsed as she was dragged up the stairs.
Suddenly a sudden cannon fire rocked the ship and sent Luna flying back down the stairs with a thud. 'ughhhh' she muttered as she hit the hard wood, looking up dazed she blinked a few times and saw Antonio slumped, blood running down his head. Pushing herslef up she ran trying to keep her footing as she found Peter. She grabbed him just in time.

'FWOOOSH!!' sea water suddenly poured into a huge hole in the ship. Luna only had time to take a deep breath before she was caught up in the water, she felt herself being pulled by a huge force out into the ocean, she could feel herself being tossed upside downt and peices of would hit her, all this time she silently prayed that Peter and her would survie.
Suddenly she broke the surface of the water, coughing a whole lot, she saw a bit of wood nearby and with some trouble managed to swim to it and deposit poor wet peter on the wood. 'Peter.....Peter! she cried out coughing yet again trying to get the cat to wake up or move. She treded water and looked all aroudn her, the moon was full yet she felt so drained.
All she could see was wood, parts of a ruined ship sill alight around her. 'Gilbert? she thought suddenly a tear came to her eye wondering what had become of her brother. A sudden yelling in a different laguage she had never heard before caught her attention and she looked over to her right side to see a rather well black magestic ship, this was definitly not Arthurs. Luna shivered and looked back at Peter whos cat eyes had opened and he shook himself looking at her.
Something trickled down her head and she lifted a tired arm bringing it back with red. 'im bleeding' she said to herslef suddenly coughing a whole lot more trying hard to catch her breath. She heard the voices come closer as she clung to the wood, she felt her vision fading as she whispered 'peter,...Arthur' she thought.

Ivan had sent his men out to search the wreck for any surviours but quickly changed his mind when he spotted the blue haired girl clinging onto some wood. 'Go and retreieve her now da! he ordered his fello crew including Toris who nodded and rowed out for the girl.

Luna groaned slightly and coughed a lot more as she came too, first thing she notcied was she was on her side, something hard and solid below her like a wooden deck. She opened her eyes slowly and gasped as they met a pair of vioelt eyes.
'ah you are awake da' the man said in a forign accent as he starred at her. Something brushed against her and she looked seeing Peter in his cat form stand next to her.
Coughing once again she nodded 'where am I? she asked looking around shivering. The man stood up and waved his arm around 'my ship, welcome to the 'Cold winter' he said then nodded at her.
'I am Admiral Ivan Braginsky of the black fleet' he said a slight smirk played on his lips.
